American Care, Inc. offers the Health Flex Plan, which provides affordable health care services to uninsured Florida residents. For $50 per month, individuals get basic medical care, prescription medications at $4 each, and free transportation to and from the medical center of your choice.
The Health Flex Plan Program was established by the 2002 Florida Legislature in recognition of a need of health care for a significant number of Florida residents who are unable to obtain affordable health insurance coverage. The program is authorized under Florida Statute 408.909.
What's covered
$50 a month
One simple monthly premium covers primary care visits, lab work, preventive screening, and transportation to your medical center.
$4 prescriptions
Medications on the basic formulary are $4 each. Cost-plus pricing on the comprehensive formulary.
Free transportation
Free transportation to and from the network primary care medical center of your choice.
No medical underwriting
Plan is guaranteed issue. You will be enrolled regardless of your medical conditions, subject to the cost-sharing provisions during the first 92 days.
